24-hour waiting period

In 2022 the State of Florida has enacted a law that requires a woman to have two appointments at least 24 hours apart to obtain an abortion. The first visit will include lab work, an ultrasound, education and options, and a meeting with a physician to discuss the abortion.  The second visit will include the abortion.
